Square Chapel works in partnership with Orange Box young people’s centre to deliver its weekly Rock School and the annual Routes Music Festival; and with Calderdale Youth Service to deliver Rock School workshops in local youth centres. This work is funded from 2018 to 2020 by the Youth Music Foundation.
We also have two Youth Theatre groups who meet at Square Chapel on Saturday mornings (5-7yrs at 10am and 8-12yrs at 11am).
We run monthly Afternoon Tea Dances for older people, mainly ballroom, sequence and few modern numbers – led by a professional dance tutor, with refreshments included in the admission price.
