This Christmas we will be screening a selection of artist and author, Raymond Briggs’ best-known work. From everyone’s favourite festive treat The Snowman, cult film When The Wind Blows and the biographical Ethel & Ernest. This is a chance to dig a little deeper into one of the nations most loved creative talents.

The second Raymond Brigg’s tv collaboration after The Snowman, this 1986 story about a couple facing a Nuclear blast feels chillingly relevant. Follow James and Hilda Bloggs as they prepare for and then face the imminent explosion using the governments Protect and Survive pamphlet. Featuring an incredible soundtrack featuring David Bowie, Roger Waters and Genesis, this is Raymond Briggs for grown-ups.
