This pitch-black comedy drama was Iceland’s contender for the 2018 Oscars in the foreign-language category.

When Baldvin & Inga’s next door neighbours complain that a tree in their backyard casts a shadow over their sundeck, what starts off as a typical spat between neighbours in the suburbs unexpectedly and violently spirals out of control.

The Icelandic-language film premiered at the Venice Film Festival and later screened at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of the Contemporary World Cinema section and we are delighted to be one of the selected cinemas to showcase it from it’s UK release date.
