From the company that brought us Oskar’s Amazing Adventure, Theatre Fideri Fidera are back with a (brand new) Stone Age show!
How did dogs evolve from wolves? Find out with the help of Yorkshire hunter-gatherers, Ugg ‘n’ Ogg. Expect flying meat bones, sabre-toothed tigers, time-travelling sticks, rapping wolves, forest infernos and lots and lots of fun…before finally getting the chance to pat the world’s first Dogg!
The story was inspired by the extraordinary evolutionary process where over thousands of years, hunter-gatherers in all parts of the world transformed the wolf into the modern dog through domestication and selection.
With live action, amazing puppets, music and songs, this is a perfect introduction to the magic of theatre for young audiences.
This show is part of Square Chapel’s Open Door schools programme, supported with a grant from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation. It offers subsidised tickets and aims to increase access to the arts for schools in Calderdale.
