“There are stories just as old
Stories that are seldom told
The ones that make the blood run cold
That only vultures tell..”
The Vulture’s Song is a new production from award-winning children’s playwright Mike Kenny and Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah developed in association with Delhi-based Yellowcat Theatre. Inspired by the 1947 Partition of India, this compelling play with universal appeal follows one young girl’s journey to safety when her world is “ripped apart and thrown to the winds”.
Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah are specialists in creating high-quality participatory drama with and for children and young people, stimulating enquiry and exploration.
This show has been programmed for schools as part of Square Chapel’s Open Door schools outreach programme, aiming to make the arts more accessible to children in Calderdale. Open Door is supported with a grant from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation.
