The Vultures’ Song is a play that follows a young girl’s journey to safety as she experiences the consequences of a land divided. Join a determined and brave young girl on her epic and transformative journey, narrated by a comical committee of inquisitive vultures.
Presented by Leeds-based Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah and written by award-winning playwright Mike Kenny, The Vultures’ Song explores migration, change and community across cultures and generations. A powerful yet comical play to be enjoyed by the whole family.
This play explores some important issues and all schools are encouraged to stay for the Q&A session after the show.

This show has been programmed as part of our Open Door schools programme, aiming to make live performance more accessible to schools in Calderdale. Open Door is supported with funding from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and tickets are heavily subsidised.
