Ensemble 360 and narrator Polly Ives have become firm favourites with children aged 3 – 7 years with brilliant newly commissioned pieces of music by Children’s Composer in Residence Paul Rissmann. Recent successes include Sir Scallywag and the Battle of Stinky Bottom, The Chimpanzees of Happytown and Stan and Mabel.

Following on from the popular Stan and Mabel, Music in the Round have commissioned a brand new show: Stan and Mabel and the Race for Space,  with new music by Paul Rissmann and a new story and illustrations by Jason Chapman.

With lots of audience participation, catchy songs and image projections from the book, this fun, enjoyable concert is an ideal first introduction to top-quality classical music by professional, acclaimed musicians.  It’s also a great opportunity to  include music in the primary curriculum!
This performance has been booked for schools as part of Square Chapel’s funded Open Door schools outreach programme.  There may be some public tickets, subject to availability, but please note seating is unreserved and school parties are given priority over seating.  Please contact our box office for more information.
