London Indian Film Festival presents a new touring programme of cutting edge Pakistani and British Pakistani films at selected cinemas outside of London.

When a local governor retires from his role, he is succeeded by a ruthless man who believes that Lahore needs stricter implementation of laws and harsher punishments. Fear begins to grip the city when he punishes and imprisons a young man for getting his fiancee pregnant out of wedlock. The man’s sister, with the help of the ex-governor set out to turn the tables but along the way she may be forced to choice between her honour and saving her brother’s life.

The film will be preceded by the short film, Ruksati by Anwar Shad
