David Glover presents

Old Photos of Halifax – The 7th Section

Wed 19 Sep, 2:00pm at Red Brick Auditorium

Tickets: £5 (£4.50 members) , approx running time: 90mins (including interval)

Yet another fascinating collection of David’s rare old Halifax images!

Beginning with views of Southgate in the 1890s, we move to internal views of Halifax banks and shops of the same era. Lost houses shown include Beech Hill and Broomfield, both homes of Joseph Crossley; plus the buildings of the first Halifax railway station at Shay Syke. Then, long vanished properties in Winding Road are featured, with the erection and demolition of the Elizabeth Shed at Dean Clough. Not to be missed!
