Step inside Mimika’s magical tent, to enter their sensory world.
The audience is taken on a journey around the different environments on our planet Earth, meeting a host of creatures who live there: we visit the desert, the jungle, the arctic and the deep blue see. Children will meet a wily crocodile, a cunning snake, a gentle penguin, an enigmatic gorilla and an array of colourful sea creatures.
The artists masterfully ease the children into their world and reveal some tricks of the trade at the end!
The show is non-verbal and highly sensory. We always get tremendous feedback from schools.
Due to the scale of the tent, places are limited to 35 per show (including teachers and support staff). Please book early to avoid disappointment.
This show is part of Square Chapel’s Open Door schools programme, supported with a grant from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation. It offers subsidised tickets and aims to increase access to the arts for schools in Calderdale.
