Historian, David Glover presents

King Richard III – The Bones and the DNA

Wed 11 Oct, 2:00pm at Copper Auditorium

Tickets: £6 (£4 concessions)

In 1485 an English King with strong Yorkshire connections, was killed in battle at Bosworth Field. In 2013, his bones were rediscovered, buried under a car park in Leicester. But how do we know for certain the bones belonged to Richard III? With information from a genealogical expert, who tracked down descendants of Richard’s sister though an all-female line, and DNA analysis, this was achieved. An extraordinary detective story; and David will explain his own connection!

This is a Square Chapel fundraising event.
