London Indian Film Festival presents a new touring programme of cutting edge Pakistani and British Pakistani films at selected cinemas outside of London.

Director Iram Parveen Bilal flies in from Los Angeles to present her compelling drama, about a teacher who, after her nanny strangely disappears, goes in search of her. Arriving at the nanny’s feudal home village the teacher uncovers a dangerous truth that will quickly de-stabilise her world. Starring Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza, Josh is a power-packed film about class and social struggle in today’s Pakistan.

The film will be preceded by the short film, Jalwa by Usman Farooqi
