IOU: The Storytelling Bus
Sat 13 Jul—Sun 14 Jul
Tickets: £7 (£5 concessions) , approx running time: 30mins
Take a 30-minute bus journey around Halifax and become part of IOU’s latest immersive experience. The Storytelling Bus takes us on a journey around Halifax, seeing this extraordinary town in a way you’ve never seen it before. Passengers sit on the moving bus wearing headphones, listening to individual stories as they take in the sights of Halifax. The words of people living in the town are brought to life – the personal, every day stories of our lives are given voice and shared meaning.
The Rear View Storytelling Bus is an alternative sightseeing journey unique to Halifax, presented in partnership with Piece Hall & Square Chapel. The Rear View bus was conceived, designed and made by IOU in their Halifax workshop and is the only one of its kind in the world. The bus is generously maintained by First Bus, Halifax.
