But instead of a big-screen Wikipedia entry, the film is as unconventional as its subject, constantly breaking off to let us in on what facts are and aren’t being included in the story. The brew is made richer by mixing in the real family backgrounds of directors Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor so that the film ends up as moving as it is wildly inventive.’
