Story Pocket Theatre are devoted to bringing both classic and orginal children’s stories to the stage in a magical, inventive and exciting way. Their productions are centred around the art of storytelling, creating a journey for their audience that will inspire a love of stories and theatre.
A Pocketful of Grimms features a clutch of well-loved fairy tales, including Hansel and Gretel, Beauty and the Beast and Rumplestiltskin – all brought to glorious life on stage in a rich mix of physical theatre, clowning, puppetry and music.
Story Pocket Theatre are winners of the Primary Times Children’s Choice Award 2014 and the Three Weeks Editor’s Choice Award at Edinburgh Fringe 2015.

This performance is programmed for schools as part of our Open Door funded schools outreach project. Seating is unallocated, but schools will be given priority when booking. Open Door is part of Creative Communities – an outreach programme led by Square Chapel in partnership with verd de gris Ltd and Orange Box young people’s centre; it is supported with funding from The National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
