Marketing Manager

Full time (37.5 hours)

Salary £23-£25k per annum, subject to experience


Four years’ experience in a senior marketing role is essential, ideally in an arts environment.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all the marketing for Square Chapel’s programme, and will provide strategic leadership across Square Chapel’s related projects.  Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.

Orangebox Young People's Centre are currently looking for more talented people to join its team of Duty Managers and Team Workers.

Rate of Pay: £9.50p per hour
Hours of Work: varied and as required. This is a casual position
Shifts are approximately 4 to 6 hours in length

Duty Managers
are responsible for managing the building, its facilities, staff and volunteers during opening hours, whilst ensuring a safe and effective service for young people and other users.

Team Workers
are responsible for running workshops and delivering or facilitating activities to young people during members’ sessions, including overseeing the safe use of the skate park, bouldering tunnel and other facilities.  Team Workers must have a skill/talent which they can apply to run workshops or activities for young people.  

All applicants must have excellent communication skills, be reliable and trustworthy, and of course be passionate about engaging with young people.  

Successful applicants will undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Calderdale Cultural Destinations Consortium

is looking to appoint an experienced evaluator (or team of evaluators) to undertake a two stage benchmarking and assessment commission for the Calderdale Cultural Destinations project .  The project runs from September 2014 – November 2016 and the successful applicant will undertake set pieces of work within the 2.5 year project. Scheduling for deliverables and reporting will be agreed once the successful applicant is contracted.

The broad aim of this work is to develop a model for measuring project success across all consortium members (12 different cultural venues / organisations / events), and subsequently to put the model into practice in order to produce an economic impact assessment at the end of the project.

Applicants may choose to undertake the whole work directly through their own resources, or alternatively may choose to contract and manage other specialists to undertake elements of the required work. However the successful applicant will remain entirely responsible for coordination and delivery of the complete work.

Deadline for expressions of interest: 8th September 2014, 12pm.
