Tom and Lucy are on the run. Offered shelter and friendship by a stranger they hide away in an ancient house.
As time passes Lucy becomes convinced she’s been in this house before – hundreds of years ago. She and Tom were fugitives back then too, running from Oliver Cromwell’s army after the bloody Battle of Worcester had put an end to the long and bitter English Civil War.
For some people sorrow can be an eternal nightmare. How do you escape the past when it will never let you go?
