Groundbreaking creativity and a fresh approach to cross-cultural music-making create a fascinating performance of musical and spiritual traditions.
Daniel’s past and present work in traditional English music and Indian classical music, Gregorian chant and Islamic sufi song, informs his thought-provoking songwriting and colourful vocal and instrumental style. Many of the pieces are drawn from his current album, From My Garden.
Shahbaz is a true virtuoso tabla player and star of the Indian classical music scene. Having played since the age of five, he has performed with many of the greatest South Asian musicians of our age. His dazzling artistic sensitivity brings great inspirational depth and height to the songs.
