A Historical Evening of Harp Music by Fiona-Katie Roberts

music

Friday 20 January 8:00pm

The BBC Yorkshire Symphony harpist returns once more to delight her audience with tales and music anew.

The music starts in Ethiopia 2,000 years ago. With rings on her fingers and bells on her ankles Fiona-Katie’s music spans continents and civilizations from the Queen of Sheba to the Celts.

On a harp specially created by Fiona-Katie with four sets of strings and bells she will transport you back so that your very soul can dance to the music and cry to the same laments as the people of ancient civilizations.
