The Old Tire Swingers

Influenced by Appalachian string bands as well as their own Central California roots, these guys play a style that sits somewhere between bluegrass, old time and country.
When Paul Chesterton first heard bluegrass music back in 2003, he fell in love with the banjo and decided to start a hard driving old time string band. Joined by long time friends Nick Kennedy on guitar, Frick Dau on upright bass and Nathaniel Felon on Mandolin, the Old Tire Swingers were formed.
Following the release of a full-length album they are supporting the record with this UK tour.
Expect both traditional and original songs, hard driving old time music, bluegrass, country, folk and Americana. Enjoy.
